October 17, 2006 > Local CPA firm announces peer review success

Greenstein, Rogoff, Olsen & Co., LLP (GROCO) announced achievement of the highest level of recognition by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). In a ceremony held on October 9, 2006 at their Fremont offices, Bob Johnson, president of the East Bay Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) presented the achievement award to partners Morey Greenstein and Alan Olsen along with special recognition for Scott Howard and Beth Rasler who guided the company through the arduous process. Olsen commented, "We are thrilled to have received another extremely positive peer review report."

AICPA adopted the peer review to assure adherence to the highest standards by member firms. This outside audit, once every three years, helps assure those using CPA services that their practitioner adheres to a demanding set of quality control principals and professionalism.
