LOV needs your help!
The League of Volunteers desperately needs immediate financial help to continue its many programs for the Tri-City community. With the holidays coming up - that means the free Thanksgiving Day Meal - Toys for Tots - Adopt-a-Family and Kid's Holiday Party with Santa.
Writing a donation check to LOV will be gratefully appreciated.
Another way to help is bring your flea market/garage sale items to the Ohlone College Parking Lot E on Saturday October 21. The space is free - all you have to do is come with your sale items, set up in a space and sell from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Set up time begins at 6 a.m.
What a great way to clear out those closets and the garage before the holidays! Bake sale and craft items are also encouraged. Then, donate all - or a portion of your sales to LOV. LOV Board and Staff members will be on hand to help you with your site and receive your monetary donations.
Since LOV has no space to collect sale items - it is asking everyone to bring them on Saturday, October 21, sell and pack up anything unsold - as the donated space, thanks to Ohlone College, must be left clean. Any one wishing bargains - come and pick up some "treasures."
