October 3, 2006 > Bay Street MTC Grant

I received this morning the following email from Carol Anne Painter: "MTC took official action this morning and approved a $1,570,000 grant for the Bay Street Streetscape & Parking Project in the City of Fremont's Irvington District.  We are very excited about the support and recognition of this important project.  The community's involvement has been the key to our success.  Details for the City Council's formal acceptance of the grant are not finalized as of yet, but I will keep you informed."

Congratulations to Carol Anne Painter and City Staff for securing this MTC grant...!!!
