AC Transit's District Accessibility Advisory Committee (AAC) is accepting applications from individuals interested in volunteering for mid-term vacancies running through February 2007. Reappointment may occur for a full term thereafter.

The AAC has been established by the district to review, comment and advise the board of directors and district staff regarding implementation and enhancement of programs and services for elderly and disabled people. Committee members address a wide variety of issues even beyond the immediate scope of accessibility. Preference will be given to applicants who are senior citizens, disabled or those individuals from a variety of ethnic groups.
