After school program for teens
Tri City League of Volunteers (LOV) says Y.E.S. (Youth Encouraged to Serve) to junior and high school teens Monday through Thursday, 3 to 5:30 p.m. The Y.E.S! teen club at 36120 Ruschin Drive, Newark, offers a safe place for teens to study, relax, play pool and video games, plus Internet access and snacks. Tutoring will also be available.
A grant from The San Francisco Foundation has enabled LOV to extend this program beyond summer hours, a long-held goal of the League.
For more information, call Harold Colon at (510) 793-5683.
