September 12, 2006 > What should be done with Ohlone's frontage property?

For several years, Ohlone College property along Mission Boulevard has been the subject of conjecture. Use of this land for commercial and residential purposes, questions of lease or sale and the proper use of monies derived from such transactions have been subjects of heated debate by college personnel and board members. A board meeting on Wednesday, September 13 will feature a public presentation by Sobrato Development Company regarding such land use. TCV asked Ohlone College President Dr. Douglas Treadway and Board of Trustees President Bob Brunton to comment on the issue.
