DeVry University 75th Anniversary Memorabilia Expo
From antique movie cameras built in the 1930s to vintage transistorized volt meters from the 1970s to bygone computers of the 1980s, the collection commemorates and preserves the evolution of education and technology. Paying homage to DeVry's contributions to the motion picture industry, silent films and historical artifacts from the Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum will also be showcased. The exhibition will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sept. 7 at DeVry University's Fremont campus, located at 6600 Dumbarton Circle. A reception and presentation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. with food and refreshments served. Admission is free. For more information, call (510) 574-1123. |
