Kiwanis Club honors
At the California-Nevada-Hawaii District Convention in San Diego, several members of the Fremont Kiwanis Club received special honors for their outstanding work. Julie Brahmst received special and well-deserved recognition as a Distinguished Lt. Governor for her dedication and hours of service to Kiwanis Division 12 covering Fremont, Newark, Union City and Santa Clara County. The Fremont Kiwanis Club received a Distinguished Club award along with Immediate Past President Elise Balgley who was honored as Distinguished President and Marsha Badella as Distinguished Secretary.
The Kiwanis Club of Fremont meets every Tuesday morning at 7 a.m. in the Bakers Square Restaurant, 5475 Thornton Ave., Newark. Anyone interested in learning about the club and its activities is welcome to come to a meeting as a guest. For more information, visit www.kiwanisfremont.org. |
