Continuation school wins accreditation
New Haven Unified School District's alternative and continuation education high school, Conley-Caraballo, has received approval for "candidacy status" as a new school with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
The three-year approval, the longest a new school can receive, gives Conley-Caraballo the WASC accreditation through June 2009.
"The visiting team was very impressed with the school and the instructional program," Deputy Superintendent David Pava said, crediting Principal Judy Silver and her staff. |
