Flea Market Returnsby Rick La Plante
The New Haven Schools Foundation - which raises money for scholarships, tutoring, the new classroom mini-grant program and other projects that benefit students in the New Haven Unified School District - is holding the first in a series of four flea markets on Saturday, July 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the parking lot at James Logan High School.
Flea markets also are scheduled August 26, September 23 and October 28.
More than 80 vendors from throughout the Bay Area attended the Foundation's inaugural flea market last October, and local folks just trying to clean out the garage are also invited to sell.
Selling space starts at just $30. Larger spaces are available, and discounts are given to folks who sign up for all four events.
Registration forms are available at the District office, 34200 Alvarado-Niles Road, Union City. For further information, call 471-1100, ext. 2310.
