Vargas Plateau Regional Park Planning Meeting
The East Bay Regional Park District is starting the planning process for a new 1,000-acre regional park in Fremont called Vargas Plateau Regional Park. A land use plan will be prepared to develop a long-term vision for recreational facilities and resource management. There will also be an environmental review to weigh the potential impacts of the Plan.
A meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 12 at Fremont Community Center to inform the public and hear concerns about this new park. District staff will use your input to help identify issues that need to be addressed in the Land Use Plan and environmental document.
If you cannot attend the meeting, contact the East Bay Regional Park District for information and/or request notification of future meetings. East Bay Regional Park District, c/o Dan Sykes Senior Park Planner; P.O. Box 5381, Oakland, CA 94605; (510) 544-2351 or www.ebparks.org
