The President and CEO of Fremont's Pantronix Corporation, Stanley T. Wang and his wife Franny, have created the Wang Family Professorship in the College of Business and Economics at California State University, East Bay. Their $250,000 gift funds the first endowed faculty honor in the history of Cal State East Bay.
Wang indicated that in addition to rewarding excellence in teaching, he hopes his latest gift will encourage other business people, including those in the Asian community, to support Cal State East Bay. "I hope that my action will inspire other people to participate," Wang said. |
