Donna Sanson's beginning water color students will hear this pearl of Van Gogh's wisdom as soon as they join her class. Under her tutelage and with sufficient time and practice, they become skilled painters with a sense of accomplishment and pride in their work.

Thanks to Dennis and Yolanda Bender, recent new owners of A+ Art and Frame, 16 of Sanson's current students will have an opportunity to share their paintings with the public in a gallery setting. For most, this will be their very first showing.

An artist's reception to celebrate the exhibit will be held on Friday, July 14, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. For more information, call (510) 792-3549.
