4th of July drawing

This year it is Fremont's Irvington District turn to host the 4th of July parade. Each district takes a turn hosting this event. To ensure the parade's continued success, a "50/50" fundraising drawing is being sponsored by the Irvington Business Association, Fremont Exchange Club and the July 4th Parade Committee. All proceeds will go to fund this and future July 4th parades.

In exchange for a requested donation of $1, supporters will participate in a drawing for cash prizes of 20, 10 or 5 percent of the total funds collected. Organizations that distribute the winning entries will also receive a cash award. Tickets are available throughout Fremont at various businesses.

Tickets are available through business associations, participating nonprofit organizations and many retail establishments throughout Fremont. For more information or to find a location to donate to the July 4th parade, contact one of the following associations.

The success of local July 4 parades depends on community participation. This drawing is an easy - and possibly profitable - way to help out. More information about the parade can be found at www.fremont4thofjulyparade.org.
