"Into the Blue" of Fremont vs. "I'll Pumas" of Newark

"Into the Blue" played their last spring soccer game for this year.  It was a memorable one and exhilarating to watch as the Fremont girls played against a much larger opponent.  Every player gave their best which included many shots on goals.  Offensively, Into the Blue's Melody Chen played smart, good positioning soccer and assisted on teammate Alyssa Gilbert's goal to tie the score.  Midfielders Rachel Heng and Sneha Thatipelli played tirelessly while Michelle Macias substituted in goal during the second half.  All players played with great enthusiasm and teamwork to conclude the season with this exciting 1-1 tie.
