Junior Giants baseball

The City of Union City, Leisure Services Department and the San Francisco Giants Community Fund are sponsoring the Junior Giants Baseball program in the Decoto neighborhood. The Decoto Junior Giants is a free, non-competitive co-ed league serving ages 8 to 13 with two divisions.

Equipment is provided by the Giants and all receive a t-shirt and cap.

Junior Giants reaches into the community and offers an opportunity to learn the basics of baseball, self-esteem, and respect. This six week instructional program focusing on teaching participants how to catch, hit, and run. Basic rules, strategies and fundamentals for each position are taught.
