Enjoy Livermore Valley wine and cheese pairings by sommelier and wine educator Sean Andrade onboard the historic Niles Canyon Railway .To meet popular demand, organizers have expanded to six bookings this year.
Each Saturday afternoon between July 22 and August 26, your trip will start in the quaint town of Sunol. Boarding these historic trains begins at 4 p.m. with departure at 4:30 p.m. for a leisurely two hours of wine tasting while traveling through the Niles Canyon. Guests must be over 21 and handicap access is limited.
Passengers will receive their own Niles Canyon Railway (NCRY) wine glass and acrylic buffet plate as mementoes.
For $30, the Wine Tasting Special 2006 package includes passage on board the NCRY Wine Tasting Special train, tutoring from the master sommelier. NCRY wine glass and special plate, samples of five Livermore wines and breads, cheeses and foods matched with the wines.
