Tule twilight toursby Joyce R. Blueford
The Math Science Nucleus will be sponsoring a series of four free twilight tours of Tule Ponds at Tyson Lagoon Wetland Center. This is a chance to experience this wetland in the light of the setting sun.
Beginning at 7 p.m. and ending at 8:45, adults and children (ages 7 and up) can take a guided tour of the Tule Ponds. Participants will learn about the creation of these ponds. Evenings begin with a reading of "Wetland in the City," the tale about how these ponds were created. Afterward, we will set out on our journey along the trails.
Each tour is limited to 25 people. Registration is required. Please include your name, number of people coming, date requested, phone number and/or email. Send the information to Katie York at the Math Science Nucleus via email to york@msnucleus.org or call (510) 790-6284.
