Boy Scout Troop 176 of Fremont completed its first drama production for the public on April 29. It was an outstanding performance of a murder mystery, "Murder at the Deadwood Saloon."

The event was set up as a dinner and show with meal courses intermixed with each act of the show. Accompanying the event was a silent auction which all combined, made a very successful fund raising event. The audience of more than a 100, exceeded original expectations of the organizers. The cast and crew were made up of some Boy Scouts, Venture Crew, a few siblings, and lots of supportive parents.
