U14 girls team, Into the Blue vs. The Rush

It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon at Celtic Field and Into the Blue was facing The Rush. Into The Blue offensive players Alyssa Gilbert, Melody Chen and Selina Mahesri kept The Rush goal keeper very busy with many shots on goal including three that made it into the net. Kudos to the mid-field line of Rachel Heng, Neha Teekappanavar and Kamya Raja who kept pushing the ball up field to their waiting forwards. The score was tied 3 to 3until the last few minutes of the game when The Rush scored and won the game.

U14 girls team, Into the Blue vs. The Thunderbolts

On a cool and cloudy morning at Celtic Field Into the Blue turned up the heat on the field with an outstanding display of offensive power. Melody Chen scored a hat trick in the first half of the game with assists from Michelle Macias, Alyssa Gilbert, Selina Mahseri and Senha Thatipelli. In the second half Melody Chen scored two more goals with assists from Nicole Gronski and Neha Teekappanavar. Into The Blues stellar defense of Erica Ohye, Katie Lindsay, Christina Kim, Miranda Alam and Keeper Rebecca Holland kept the Thunderbolts offense to one goal.
