Saturday, April 1

Major Division

Major Giants 3, Major Cardinals 3
The Giants and Cardinals played to a 3-3 tie. Andrew Horne pitched 4-2/3 strong innings with 10 strikeouts and scored a run. David Hapiuk had a nice game behind the plate with 14 put-outs and he scored a run. DJ Cragin pitched 2-1/3 innings with 3 strikeouts and a base hit in his 1st major division game.

Minor Division

Minor Red Sox 23, Minor Giants 4
Red Sox had a big game from David Collins who had a triple and 3 RBI's, from Aaron Perez 3 hits, 4 RBI's and Joey Hockett who had 3 hits and 3 RBI's. Great pitching performances by Joey Hockett who struck out the side in the 1st inning and Tad Lehane who struck out the side in the 2nd inning. In all, the Red Sox had a team effort victory with every player on the team contributing, holding the Giants to just one hit and 4 walks in 4 innings.

Game Summary - Lead off batter Kyle Lee got the D'backs rolling with their aggressive base running to help them beat the A's in 4 innings of play.

Minor A's (Top Players)

Game Summary:
"Life begins when baseball season starts." The A's got off to a rough start losing to the Diamond Backs 17-2. For the most part, many walks were handed to both teams. Emphasis was on base stealing. Defensive highlights included A's catcher, Kaualoha Asing, running down a wild pitch and tagging out the Diamond back's runner who was attempting to score from third base. In the third inning, left fielder, Josh Fujinaga, made a terrific catch by tracking down a hard hit line drive to left center.

Minor Dodgers 0, Marlins 4

The Dodgers finally kicked off their first game of the season. Top players: Joshua Shah and Josh Jespersen. Joshua Shah threw 8 strike outs going 4 2/3 innings while being defeated by the Marlins. Josh Jespersen hit one for two with a single and had a great infield catch. Lorenzo Aguirre hit one for two.

Rookie Division

The Rookie Nationals awarded their MVP award and game ball to Prathik Jogi for a great defensive game against the Rookie Red Sox.

Wednesday, April 5

Minor Diamondbacks vs. Minor Cardinals
D'backs 12, Cardinals 4

Top Players: D'backs Offense- David Shan 2 for 3, scored twice Justyn Thomas 2 for 3, scored twice and 1 RBI Zack Souza 2 for 3, scored twice and 1 RBIs D'backs Defense - Zack Souza pitched 3 innings, 6 strike outs, 2 walks, 1 earned run Kyle Lee pitched 2 innings, 2 strike outs, 1 walk, 1 earned run Mark Garcia, Matt Siegfried, Daniel Lopez and Justyn Thomas

Cardinals Offense- J.C. Maroun 2 for 3 with 2 runs Tyler Janitz 1 for 3 with 2 RBIs Cardinals Defense - Ricky Ochoa, Steven Bettencourt, and Tyler Janitz

Game Summary - After 5 innings of play, the D'backs the rain didn't set them back and were ready to play ball. Zack Souza started pitching strong and kept the Cardinals to zero until the 3rd inning. Matt Siegfried, Daniel Lopez and Mark Garcia of the Diamondbacks showed some skills catching pop flies. David Shan, Justyn Thomas and Zack Souza hot bats helped the D'backs score 7 of their 12 runs. The Cardinals didn't give up. J.C. Maroun, Marcus Runels and Tyler Janitz showed their skills at bat and on the field.

April 6th

Rookie Redsox 3 vs Angels 10
Top Players: Brennan Sage, Peter Brown and Ricky Williams.

Game summary: Decaurey Brown had a good defense for the day. Brennan Sage was 2 for 3 and made a couple of outstanding defensive plays. Ricky Williams added a hit and made a great play in the outfield. Peter Brown also added a hit.

T-ball Rockies vs Yankees

Top players: Keegan Mc Caffrey MVP
Game summary: Robert Cisneros double play
Colby Bacon- Grand Slam
