Pipeline Upgrade Project public meetingsby Betsy Rhodes and Christina Kerby
The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) will be holding informational public meetings in Newark and Fremont on March 21 and 22 to discuss important upgrades to the regional water delivery system.
The goal of the Bay Division Pipeline Reliability Upgrade Project is to improve the reliability and seismic stability of the SFPUC Regional Water System, which serves 2.4 million people in Alameda, Santa Clara, San Mateo and San Francisco counties. The project, which is in the early planning stages, proposes to construct a fifth Bay Division Pipeline along the existing SFPUC right-of-way that passes through Fremont and Newark.
Please join us at one of two meetings to learn more about this important project and how it will affect you.
