A Country Western Benefit Concert
The Viola Blythe Center is bringing twice-Grammy-nominated, Big 7 recording artist Tim Murphy to the Newark Pavilion for a benefit concert. Murphy will be performing his new hit single "Wild Wild West" along with other favorites from past CD's and his soon-to-be released new CD "Ain't No Shame!"
From the legendary stage of the famous Wild Horse Saloon in Nashville to the Saddle Rack in Fremont, Tim Murphy's electrifying stage performances are captivating audiences of all ages. His heartfelt, soulful voice seems to resonate with the honesty and purity of the classic country stars of yesteryear while he delivers the goods with the vibrant and youthful energy of today's superstars.
An opening act by the Charlie Michael Band will begin at 4:30 p.m. There will be food for sale and a 50/50 raffle. KRTY Radio will broadcast live from the Newark Pavilion.
Tickets are $25 in advance and $40 at the door. Tickets are available at Viola Blythe Center, Fremont Ford, Central Glass, Inc., and the Newark Chamber office.
