Wartime Memories of World War II

Phyllis Mattson, author of War Orphan in San Francisco, is featured at an event hosted by the Milpitas Library. The program shares memories from World War II, and Mattson will read excerpts from her book and speak of fleeing the Nazis as a child and arriving alone in America. Audience members are also invited to share memories and bring photographs and souvenirs from the battlefield or the home front to display. Admission is free.
