Activcard of Fremont, a provider of digital assurance solutions, appointed Mark J. Lustig chief financial officer. Lustig is former senior vice president of finance and corporate controller at Sanmina-SCI.
ActivCard has changed its name to ActivIdentity. It will be submitted to the company stockholders for approval at the annual meeting in Feb. 06. Headquartered in Fremont, ActivCard is a global provider of digital identity assurance solutions that allow customers to issue, use and manage trusted digital identities for secure transactions, communication and access to information.
ActivCard d/b/a ActivIdentity (Nasdaq: ACTI), reported financial results for its first quarter of fiscal 2006 ended December 31, 2005. Revenue for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 was $11.5 million compared to $11.6 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2004, and $9.4 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2005; a 22% increase quarter over quarter.
