The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill

Friends of Coyote Hills and Fremont will host a benefit screening of the acclaimed documentary film The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill on Sunday, Feb. 5. The event will be held at the Niles Edison Theater, 37417 Niles Boulevard, Fremont, with showings at 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

The program includes refreshments and a short slide show of photos of the Coyote Hills area. A donation of $25 per person is requested to help fund efforts to preserve Fremont's last large baylands open space, and to protect Coyote Hills' ecosystems and wildlife habitat from the threat of development. The event is cosponsored by Tri-City Ecology Center, Citizens Committee to Complete the Refuge, Alameda Creek Alliance, Sierra Club, and Audubon Society.
