A Year with Frog and Toad
A Year with Frog and Toad is a classic children's musical derived from the books of Frog and Toad written by Arnold Lobel. Frog and Toad are nothing alike. Yet, they're best, friends. Toad is a worrywart, if you'll pardon the expression, Frog is not. But oh what good times they have trying to keep sleds on the ground, kites in the air and themselves from overeating cookies. And when their chum, Snail gets involved; well let's just say he gives new meaning to the phrase "at a snail's pace."
This splashy and lavish Bay Area premiere musical is about as tuneful as it gets! Featuring songs such as, Getta Loada Toad...Cookies...The Letter...It's Spring...
Directed by Lori A. Stokes, with musical direction by Nancy Godfrey, costume design by Marlene Borlaug and choreography by Jeanne Batacan-Harper, this musical will feature the talents of Evan Boomer, who attends Irvington High School, playing the part of the Frog and Jordan Aragon, who attends Washington High School, playing the part of Toad, along with a cast 35 very talented children.
A Year With Frog and Toad will have its Bay Area Premiere at the Smith Center Ohlone College located at, 43600 Mission Blvd. in Fremont.
