PEP classes offeredby Chuck Guaraglia
PEP (Personal Emergency Preparedness) is a great program being offered to the citizens and organizations in Fremont. The purpose of the PEP program is to educate Fremont residents about all-hazard disaster preparedness and to help our citizens become self-sufficient in a major disaster. PEP training includes information on earthquakes and other natural hazards, personal and family preparations, when and how to shut off your utilities, the use of fire extinguishers, smoke detector placement and how to shelter in place. This is a free public education program sponsored by the Fremont Fire Department.
The presentation takes about 2 1/2 hours (additional time for questions and answers).
We would like to offer this valuable presentation at one of your organization's meetings. To schedule a PEP presentation or for more information call (510) 792-3473.
Information on Fremont Fire Department public education opportunities is also available at (510) 494-4243.
We look forward to working with you to make the city of Fremont a more disaster resistant community.
