2006 Newark Pride awards announced

The city of Newark is proud to announce the winners of the 2005 Newark Pride Awards. This program is designed to promote beautification efforts within the city and set an example for others to show pride in their property and city. This year, awards were given to the most improved and best maintained individual properties. A sign will be placed on the front yard (with owner's permission) of all individual winners and posted on street signs at the entrances to winning neighborhoods. Award winners and all participants will be recognized at the next Newark Days celebration. Winners for this year are:
