Hollywood Hats!
Remember the days when Hollywood was filled with movie star legends, the fashions, and irresistibly alluring glamour? Well now is your chance to revisit those days at the Fremont Senior Center on Friday, Nov. 18.
Film and fashion historian, Gloria Heidi who studied under costume designer Edith Head, will present Hollywood Hats!, a one-woman show about classic Hollywood and its great stars. It is a highly entertaining insightful look at the changing image and lives of American women from the 1930s to the present as seen through movie imagery. Featured in the show -- along with songs, humor, insider stories and Tinseltown lore -- are a number of hats worn by famous screen legends.
Heidi will take her audience behind the scenes of Hollywood's sound stages to reveal the magic of Hollywood by using her unique, special collection of vintage hats worn by such movie leading ladies as Claudette Colbert, Gloria Swanson, Greta Garbo, Rita Hayworth, and Katharine Hepburn.
