25th Annual Logan Field Showby Ellen Rebosura
On Saturday, Nov. 12, the 25th Annual Logan Field Show will feature the artistry and talent of 24 of the finest bands from Northern and Central California.
The James Logan Band and Color guard is the defending WBA (Western Band Association) champion in the 4A/5A division and will be performing their program, "The Secret Garden" at this event. This five-time WBA champion is proud to have 218 musicians and 57 dancers representing the school. The band has represented Northern California in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade and the Pasadena Tournament of Roses parade in recent years, and was the sole representative for the state of California at the Edinburgh Easter Festival in Scotland earlier this year.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for children (6-12 years) and seniors (65 and older). Children 5 and under are free. Tickets will be on sale at the Logan Football field ticket booth on the day of the event beginning at 1:30 pm.
This will be the last field show competition before the WBA championships, so all the bands should be in top form! The festivities will promptly start at 2:50 p.m. Be sure to arrive at the stadium early for best seating. Parking is free.
