Comedy and chills at Broadway Westby Heidi Leung
As Halloween is approaching soon, Broadway West is about to present Corpse! a comedic thriller. The play is set in 1936 London and tells the story of very different twin brothers who dislike each other's lifestyle choices. Evelyn is a struggling, out-of-work actor who lives in a poverty stricken flat in Soho. His brother Rupert is a successful businessman who lives in a posh flat uptown. Stricken with jealousy, Evelyn decides to hire a hit man to do away with his twin. However, there's no way the plot can be that simple.
Does Rupert really get killed? Will Evelyn regret his decision? One things for sure, Corpse! is filled with delightful twists and turns alongside a humorous cast. Just to entice you a bit more, there will be an exciting sword fight and a surprise ending as well. Come find out what happens to Evelyn and his accomplice Major Powell. Will murder solve Evelyn's obvious psychological discontent?
