September 27, 2005 > DeVry University to host community swap meet

Planning a garage sale? DeVry University's Fremont campus is hosting a community swap meet from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, at the university's parking lot at 6600 Dumbarton Cir.

Vendor space is available for rent for $5 per space, for up to three spaces. Set- up time is 7 a.m. Proceeds from space rentals will go to the American Red Cross to benefit victims of hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

Community members of all ages are invited to the event. In addition to the swap meet, fast-fingered video game enthusiasts are invited to compete for prizes in a video game competition. For more information call 1-888-201-9941, ext. 1185 or email outreach@fre.devry.edu.
