Call for used inkjet and toner cartridges

by Russ Blowers

Thanks to an exciting new program sponsored by Optimist International, you can now safely recycle your inkjet and toner cartridges while helping the Newark Optimist Club and the OI Foundation.

Coastal Inkjet is partnering with Optimist Clubs across the United States and Canada to help recycle these cartridges in an environmentally responsible manner, unlike the original manufacturers who simply add the spent cartridges to landfill. You can do your part to help the environment and your local Optimist club by saving your used cartridges and giving them to an Optimist club member, or you can bring them to one of the following locations:

Newark Chamber of Commerce Office
6066 Civic Terrace
Newark, CA 94560

Newark Hallers Pharmacy
6170 Thornton Ave
Newark, CA 94560

In addition, Coastal Inkjet will provide you or your business with collection containers which are labeled with pre-paid UPS labels to make it easy for your business to participate at no cost to you. These containers are pre-coded so that the Newark Optimist Club and the Optimist International Foundation will receive credit for your donations. Just call Russ Blowers at (510)797-4333 or (510)793-1498 to sign up. Remember, there is no cost to you for shipping materials or postage.
