German School of Fremont set to begin fall semesterby Pamela Rosen
The German School of Fremont will begin its spring semester on Sept. 17, at Kennedy High School in Fremont. The organization, which has been teaching the German language and culture to students of all ages and backgrounds, has a rich 43 year history in Fremont.
Classes are available for both children and adults of all skill levels and ages from beginning levels through advanced conversation class. With a staff of qualified, native-language speaking German teachers, the curriculum includes not only the grammar, vocabulary and conversational skills necessary to learn a language, but also includes education in German culture, including holidays, traditions, and, at the higher levels, current events.
The German School of Fremont meets weekly, on Saturday mornings from 9:30 until noon. The semester will last until early January. For more information call (510) 396-7790 or visit www.dsfremont.org. |
