CSU East Bay Golf Tourney
Golfers of all skill levels are invited to participate in the 9th Annual California State University, East Bay Golf Tournament on Monday, August 29 at Sequoyah Country Club, 4550 Heafey Road, in the hills of Oakland.
Proceeds from the tournament will support CSUEB alumni and intercollegiate athletic programs. All participants will have the use of a golf cart and receive a gift bag.
Tournament activities will begin at 10 a.m. with registration, when the driving range also will be available for a golfer warm up session. A poolside barbeque lunch will be served at 11 a.m.
The tourney will have a shotgun start at 12 p.m. After 18 holes of golf, there will be a dinner buffet, silent auction, and awards presentation at 5 p.m. in the Sequoyah clubhouse.
Tournament fee for individual golfers is $225. Golf foursomes can register for $825.
Prizes will be awarded for golf foursome teams finishing first, second and last, as well as individuals with the longest drive and ball closest to the pin on specified holes.
