Relax under the oaks and enjoy excellent wine, beer, coffee drinks, delicious appetizers, and live music at Sulphur Creek Nature Center's Flight to Freedom event on Saturday, August 12. As a highlight to the evening, witness the release of some young owls raised by Sulphur Creek's Wildlife Rehabilitation program. Take part in the behind-the-scenes tours, live animal appearances and much more. This is fundraising event benefiting the wildlife education and rehabilitation programs of Sulphur Creek Nature Center located at 1801 "D" Street in Hayward. Tickets are $60 and available by calling (510) 881-6747 daily after 10 a.m. This is an adult only event.
