The Tri-City Animal Shelter is experiencing an overabundance of animals from Fremont, Newark and Union City. Approximately 8,000 animals arrive each year. As of July 1, the shelter now receives animals from the city of San Leandro. There are many loving adoptable cats, dogs and rabbits at the shelter just waiting for a good home. If you are looking for a new member for your family, please visit us. Our address is 1950 Stevenson Blvd., Fremont. We are located behind the Fremont Police Department. Hours are Tuesday through Friday noon to 5 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information please call (510) 790-6630.
