USS San Francisco CA-38 Cruiser WW II veterans and public is invited to this event which will be one of the last full gatherings of the men from the CA-38 that received 17 battle stars in WW II, which Tokyo Rose often said was sunk. Come hear about the heroic crew of the USS San Francisco submarine.
Speakers will include Assemblyman Leland Yee and Cmdr. Kevin G. Mooney, USS San Francisco SSN-711 nuclear submarine that made world press in January 2005 and "60 Minutes" Wednesday edition on May 18, 2005.
