Both the 12 and under and the 14 and under Cal Heat Softball teams have qualified for the Western Regional World Series, to be held July 16 through the 24 in St. George, Utah.

Cal Heat will be holding a dinner-dance on Friday, June 17, at the S.D.E.S. Portuguese Hall, 30846 Watkins St. Union City. Dinner will be served from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with dancing to follow until 12 a.m. Gift basket donations are being accepted for the raffles that will take place throughout the evening.
