Local business supports education foundationFEF gets ready for fundraising event with an early gift from accountancy firm
There were plenty of smiles at the offices of Greenstein, Rogoff, Olsen & Company, LLP (GROCO) as Alan Olsen (partner) and Beth Rasler of GROCO provided a giant boost for the Fremont Education Foundation (FEF) with a giant check for $5,000. The foundation will be holding its annual After School Band Telethon April 19 - 21 between 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. on EdTV -- Fremont Cable Channel 26. Each night will feature students in our band, musical treats from students, past students, band directors and celebrities in our community. Foundation president, Lara York; treasurer, Beth Rasler (serving double duty) and board member Nina Moore received the check on behalf of FEF.
