Vintage British Motorcycle Show to Exhibit Over 100 Classicsby Barry Porter
The BSA Owners Club of Northern California will hold their 18th annual Clubman's motorcycle show at the Santa Clara County fairgrounds on April 9. This is the premier vintage concourse motorcycle event on the West Coast with rare and gorgeous British motorcycles on display from all over the U.S. Models competing for prestigious trophies cover nearly every decade of the 20th century.
The show will offer a visual feast for every bike lover- whether you like classics, dirt bikes, sport bikes, racers or customs. British marques represented include such famous names as AJS, Ariel, Douglas, Brough Superior, BSA, Greeves, Matchless, Norton, Sunbeam, Triumph, Royal Enfield, Velocette, Vincent and Zenith, among others. A raffle for a 1962 BSA Star Twin will also be held.
A "Morning After" ride for those who want to enjoy riding vintage British motorcycles in scenic Northern California is also on the agenda for Sunday, April 10. Details and ride location will be available at the show.
The BSA Owners Club of Northern California boasts over 600 members from all over the world, promoting the "Ride 'em, don't hide 'em" spirit that makes owning a classic British motorcycle so much fun today. Events include organized rides throughout California from February to November.
