An exhibition of artwork by Fremont Unified School District students will be on display in the district's Education Center throughout March and April. Open to the public, a reception for the exhibition will be held at FUSD offices, on March 4 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Walls of FUSD offices will exhibit art from the district's many talented students and is open to the public. The district is working in conjunction with the Alameda County Office of Education to focus on student art during March's National Arts Month.
Susan Manbeian, art teacher at Hopkins Junior High School and co-chair of FUSD's arts team said, "Our purpose is to inform parents and community members that the arts play an integral role in education."

Ardenwood Elementary School students will demonstrate the Music for Minors program while Hopkins Junior High School will be represented by their jazz band. Excerpts from "Charlie Brown" will be performed by Mission High School students, as well as "Kiss Me Kate" performed by Irvington High School students.
