Fremont Sign Ordinance Committee Members Neededby Fremont Chamber of Commerce
Fremont Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a meeting regarding the Fremont Sign Ordinance. All interested parties, including non-Chamber members, are invited to attend. The purpose of this meeting is to enlist the help of those who want to help revise the City's sign ordinance by serving on a sub-committee based on interest and need.
Sub-committee members will be expected to provide recommendations regarding specific rules, organizational ideas, etc. for the section of the ordinance assigned to the sub-committee. This commitment will begin as soon as possible after the meeting on Jan. 21 and will be completed by no later than Wednesday, March 2, 2005, when the sub-committee will present their findings to the Fremont Chamber's Sign Ordinance Committee. Sub-committee members should expect to spend around five hours, including time away from meetings to read material, over the course of their involvement in the sub-committee.
The few hours that you will contribute to the process will be invaluable to creating a business-friendly Sign Ordinance.
