Congratulations ! The Newark Soccer Club U14 boys Class III team did it again. For two consecutive years the Newark Earthquakes Class III Boys have won 1st place in District Cup and League Champions for District III Al Caffodio Boys under their league age group. This year the Newark Earthquakes were neck to neck with Fremont U14 boys all the way until the very end. When winning Fremont 4-2 at the District Cup on the weekend of Dec. 4 for first place, Ivan Salsedo, Felipe Alvarez, Max Ruiz and A. Robertson made the winning goals for the season. The Newark Earthquakes coach Gus Garcia stated, "I never thought we could be in this position two years in a row. This is more than I could ever ask for as a coach."
