Seussical the Musical at Ohlone Smith Centerby Heidi Leung
Dr. Seuss is a creative genius who has brought delight to children all through the world with his colorful tales of crazy cats and silly elephants. Though many feel that his stories are only for children, there are actually many profound lessons to be learned. The creators of Seussical the Musical realized this and decided to turn it into a stage performance that incorporated all of his most popular characters.
With musical scores that range from Latin, pop, R&B, swing and funk, this musical will have audiences tapping their toes. Chaos erupts in the Jungle of Nool and it takes all the characters who live in Seuss's world to restore harmony. You'll be sure to see the Cat in the Hat, Gertrude the Elephant, and the Whos of Whosville among many other familiar characters. This fabulous stage production will be performed by Star Struck Children's Theater at Ohlone College Smith Center for Performing Arts.
