Newark Recognizes Top Homes and Neighborhoods2004 Newark Pride Award Recipients Announced by Paula Jones
The City of Newark is proud to announce the winners of the 2004 Newark Pride Awards. This program is designed to promote beautification efforts within the city and set an example for others to show pride in their property and city. This year, awards were given to the best maintained individual properties and neighborhoods. A sign will be placed on the front yard (with owner's permission) of all individual winners and posted on street signs at the entrances to winning neighborhoods. Award winners and all participants will be recognized at the next Newark Days celebration. Winners for this year are:
