Happy Fish Swim School Opens New Indoor Pool in Fremontby Liz Elliott
The new indoor pool is kept at a comfortable 90 degrees, ideal for perfecting strokes and building endurance. Lanes are suited for competitive level swimming classes for children and adults and two large, shallow area inlets are used for teaching beginners and small children. A special viewing room with air conditioning allows parents to watch in comfort.
Happy Fish provides high quality swim lessons for infants through adults and welcomes special needs swimmers including those with autism. All of our teachers are certified in American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and as Water Safety Instructors.
A Grand Opening Celebration will take place on October 9, 2004 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All are welcome to visit for tours of the new pool, complimentary hors d'oeuvres, and activities for the kids.
Happy Fish Swim School has been serving the Fremont community since September 1999. The swim school began as a feeder program for the Fremont Area Swim Team (FAST), providing a progressive swim lesson program, with upper levels geared towards placing participants on the swim team.
Happy Fish also offers Aqua Aerobics, Family Practice Times for students and their families to enjoy our pool, and Ladies Only Swim Lessons and practice times. Lifeguard Training and Water Safety Instructor courses are open to the public, as well as CPR, First Aid and other ARC safety classes.
