KGO-TV's Spencer Christian Featured Speaker at Kiwanis Club of Fremontby Shirley Sisk
On Tuesday, September 21, the Kiwanis Club of Fremont is hosting a Special Guest Day at the Spin-a-Yarn Restaurant in Fremont from 7 am to 8:30 am. KGO-TV's Spencer Christian will speak on "Community Service and the Joy of Volunteering." Mr. Christian joined the ABC News team in January, 1999 after nearly 13 years with Good Morning America in New York. Spencer devotes a good deal of his time to charitable and community service organizations such as the March of Dimes, Special Olympics, the American Cancer Society, Big Brothers, the Make-a-Wish Foundation and others. The Kiwanis Club of Fremont is looking forward to bringing his thoughts on community service to the Tri Cit. If any one is interested in joining the Kiwanis for breakfast to hear Mr. Christian and learn more about the Kiwanis Club and its work in the Tri City community, please contact Chip Koehler, Special Guest Day Chair at 650-743-2832. |
