First Annual Quilt Show
The Mission San Jose Chamber of Commerce knows how to put on a party! They kicked off the rotating Fourth of July parade, created the wildly successful Olive Festival, commemorate the winter holidays in style and have now added another feather to their cap - an outdoor quilt show. The First Annual Quilt Show was held Saturday, August 28th and proved a winner! Over 100 colorful quilts were on display throughout the district. Spirits were high and attendance was heavy as even the buses on Mission Boulevard slowed to allow riders to savor the sights. This type of project is not successful without a lot of hard work and the members of the Mission San Jose Chamber of Commerce wish to thank the following (and many others including those who displayed their quilts):
